NOTE: To be safe always unplug controller from a “hot port” when vehicle is stored outside in adverse weather conditions or in a parking garage near heavy construction. THESE SITUATIONS TYPICALLY WILL cause vehicle rocking or vibration movement. If not unplugged the PLD could drain vehicle battery over a period of time.

Frequently Asked Questions
Q1. Controller power LED (amber colored LED) does not work when I plug Controller into selected vehicle 12 volt port?
A1. This could mean the 12 volt port only receives power when the vehicle ignition is turned on. Or, the Controller fuse needs replacement. The fuse is located in the front pin area of Controller (unscrew cap, remove fuse and check fuse element visually) replace if necessary. Replacement fuses (2 Amp) are readily available at many automotive parts retailers.
Q2. Controller amber color LED works but green color LED doesn’t light up?
A2. This means your Controller has power; however sensors do not detect darkness and vehicle motion. To test, simply cover the light sensor (Clear LED) with black tape (to obstruct ambient light) and tap the Controller housing to simulate motion, the green LED should light up accordingly.
Q3. Controller amber AND green LEDs work, but my PLD panel doesn’t light up?
A3. Make sure the panel cord is fully engaged into Controller component.
Q4. PLD will never shut off?
A4. This could mean the Controller is plugged into a “hot port” and is also sensing outside related motion effecting vehicle like: wind storms or thunder storms and super heavy rains during night duration (darkness) or parked inside garage near heavy construction.
Q5. PLD cable is too short?
A5. Purchase the appropriate accessory extension cables. Or relocate panel near Controller.
WARNING: Never route PLD power cable through
vehicle air bag deployment area(s).
This could result in serious injury.
